I host with 1&1 (www.1and1.com) and they seem pretty solid. The entry level $2.99 package is nothing to sneeze at. I also am looking at hosting with Site5 (www.site5.com). They seem to be a more robust reseller oriented company with a technology focus (Ruby on Rails - wheee!). What is so swell about Dreamhost? Tim Pascal () (URL) -

I got the 'code monster' plan from DreamHost which allows me to host an unlimited number of domains / subdomains with 60GB of server space and 1.6TB of bandwidth per month. The track record of DreamHost is quite well known for uptime and performance and they had a special on that I just couldn't refuse (2 year plan).
