Christmas with a (sour?) twist!

Let me first start by wishing anyone who stumbles across this best wishes for the holiday season. Yeah, yeah.. I know that everyone says/writes that but I do sincerely mean it. Honestly.

This year has been a very different year as far as the holidays go. What's different you might ak? This year my wife was not here at home with my kids and I. She is off caring for her Mother while her Father is in the hospital. Christmas? Well,we haven't had that yet. The matter of having a Christmas without Mom was discussed with my two teenage kids and we all agreed that it simply wasn't an option. We will simply celebrate Christmas when our family is 'whole' again. We all miss you, Mrs. Griswald, and look forward to your return!

I want to send out special wishes filled with hugs to my grandchildren, Bryce and Faith. (and of course their great parents, Josh and Selena) I hope their Christmas was filled with all of the magic that such a special day can bring. Grampa loves and misses them both and hopes to see them soon!

Instant Mail!?

Hrmm.. It seems that the 'Instant Mail' part of griswald.net hasn't been working for awhile and no one was able to email me to tell me about it. :P It's back up and running and I'm looking forward to your entertaining letters again!

Pivot 1.20 RC Unveilled!

We are happy to have been asked to setup Pivot's latest release, Pivot 1.20 RC 'Arcee', a day or so before it is being made public. So far upgrading has been a snap and I have not encountered a single problem! Bob and the rest of the folks at Pivot have done it again!

Comox in December!

I've recently returned from Vancouver Island, BC and have come to realize that West coast weather is a bit too rainy for my liking. Maybe it was just a bad week.. but rain every day!?

Some good did come from the trip though. The torp-ex was carried out sucessfully and a few good pictures were taken along the way. To see more of the picture have a look here.
